Lorenz Krieger

Lorenz Krieger' is a research project in the format of a one-man show that deals with the struggle for personal identity in various scenes. The result is a sensitive, entertaining artistic analysis on the subject of disruptions in the area of self-perception and the relationship to the outside world. The research will explore the balancing act that must be achieved in order to assert oneself in today's world, while at the same time revealing one's own vulnerability. Choreographer and performer Lorenzo Ponteprimo will be accompanied by a diverse team and the participants of the outreach program, allowing for a multi-perspective approach to the portrayal of the 'hyper-masculine' stage character.

The scenic material of the piece is partly based on further developments from research processes by the choreographer Edan Gorlicki and a solo that Lorenzo developed for the performance 'Bigger Than The Universe' by Eva Borrmann. Lorenzo Ponteprimo would like to thank both of them for their trust.
