Try out Linux as an alternative to Windows 11 at the VHS Bremerhaven

In October this year, Microsoft will end support for the Windows 10 operating system. From then on, computers with Windows 10 will no longer receive free security updates and will therefore be more vulnerable to cyber attacks. The problem: many of these PCs do not meet the hardware requirements to install the successor Windows 11. An alternative to continue using the devices is to install the free Linux operating system. The Bremerhaven Adult Education Center is offering a course to get to know and try out Linux. Participants will learn how to equip their device with a resource-saving Linux system and continue to use it for writing, Internet use and e-mails.
