Lesung und Kreativwerkstatt mit Illustratorin Karin Lindeskov: Fliegt mit Möwe Mona durch Hamburg

In the organizer's words:

Reading and creative workshop with illustrator Karin Lindeskov-Andersen: Flying through Hamburg with Mona the seagull

March 1, 2-5 p.m. in the Fröbel book workshop in the Elbe shopping center (2nd floor, next to Saturn)

Illustrator Karin Lindeskov Andersen reads from her book "Schlaf schön, Hamburg!" for all (very) young Hamburg residents. You don't go to bed yet, but follow Mona the seagull on her journey through the city where you live. From the harbor to the city park, from the cathedral to the fish market - where will Mona the seagull come to rest?

Cutting, folding, painting, crafting, illustrating - Karin Lindeskov Andersen will then take you on an artistic and creative journey. Inspired by the story, Karin's illustrations and the large library of the Fröbel book workshop, you will illustrate your own little characters or stories.

Materials are provided, you don't need to bring anything. Recommended for families with children aged 2 and over. No registration required. Free admission. Open family offer, coming and going allowed - the author will read twice between 2 and 5 pm.

About the book "Schlaf schön, Hamburg"
When it gets too cold for her on the North Sea in winter, Mona the seagull decides to fly to Hamburg to spend the winter in the city. She spends a whole day on the road until Hamburg finally comes into sight. But once there, it is far too loud, too bright and too dirty everywhere. Where should she sleep? On a ship, perhaps? "I'm so tired. Will you rock me to sleep, dear ship?" asks Mona, but then the boat rocks far too violently and she doesn't get the sleep she deserves. Perhaps better in the city park then? "I'm so tired. Will you count the stars in the sky with me, dear planetarium?" asks the seagull, but then the starry sky turns out to be far too loud a firework display. And so Mona has to make a few more attempts at the fish market, the cathedral and the harbor until she finally falls into a dreamy sleep on the Elbe beach.
