Handel took baroque opera to a solitary peak, he is a grand master of the concerto grosso, a brilliant church musician and probably the most important composer of the oratorio. He was not only world-famous, but also a legend in his own lifetime.
The reading would also like to draw attention to the performance of the "Messiah" on Sunday, December 22, 4 p.m., in the Christuskirche.
