With I.V. Nuss and Christina Maria Landerl as well as Andrea Grill and Albana Shala
Moderated by Gesa Ufer
What will life look like in 2040, both on a large and small, individual level? How might digital technologies develop and what will our own lives look like at that time? These are the questions addressed by the joint project of the two writers Christina Maria Landerl and I.V. Nuss, in which they allow their future "selves" - who will be 46 and 61 years old respectively in 2040 - to enter into a dialog. What positive developments could have already been realized by 2040? How will people interact with each other and with nature in the future? And what role will language play in this? Andrea Grill addresses these and other questions in her poetic essay and her Albanian project partner Albana Shala in her prose text. All four are authors of the anthology edited by Elke Atzler and Manfred Müller entitled "Planting trees in the desert. What kind of world do we want to live in by 2040?".
