Les Deux Guitars (Gypsy- Jazz)

Concert for World Roma Day on April 8.

Henry Eipl (r.) and Jakob Shabbir are two young up-and-coming jazz guitarists
jazz guitarists from the Rhine-Neckar-Main region.
The guitar duo have been performing together since they met at the Django Reinhardt
Festival in France.

Their repertoire is diverse and includes various original
own compositions, music from classical music, classical
early jazz, swing, gypsy jazz and jazz manouche, jazz
as well as bossa nova and rhumba-inspired rhythms.

April 8 is celebrated worldwide as the official Roma Day, a day of action to draw attention to the situation of the Roma, in particular discrimination and persecution, while at the same time celebrating the culture of this ethnic minority.
