An overgrown Eden full of unusual plants and secrets: In 2020, Olivia Laing, one of England's most renowned literary voices, begins to revive an old garden.

In "The Garden and Time" (S. Fischer, Engl. by Thomas Mohr), Laing tells of the creation of a paradise, moves between real and imaginary gardens in cultural history and identifies the garden as a place of rebellion and communal utopias. An intoxicating, exuberant homage to the diversity of the garden and the deep-rooted possibilities hidden within it.

Lawyer and dressage rider Loretta Würtenberger and Hubertus Graf Zedtwitz, international dressage rider and trainer and sociotherapist, take a closer look at the age-old relationship between horses and humans in "Eine Sprache der Liebe" (Friedenauer
Presse), they explore the age-old relationship between man and horse.

The focus is on the language of horsemanship, whose terms - "aids", "contact", "suppleness" - are not just technical instructions, but become metaphors for human interaction. What do we learn about ourselves through our interaction with the horse?

Loretta Würtenberger and Hubertus Graf Zedtwitz talk to Jenny Friedrich- Freksa ("Pferde", Hanser Berlin) about riding as a way of rethinking communication, trust and relationships.

Vincent Moissonnier and his wife Liliane ran the 2-star restaurant "Le Moissonnier" in Cologne for almost 40 years. In his book "Ein Tisch am Fenster" (Kiepenheuer & Witsch), he tells the story of this legendary place as a story of passion.

With the Munich author, cultural scientist and excellent chef Eva Gesine Baur, Vincent Moissonnier talks about enjoyment and taste, about inconspicuous and conspicuous guests, about the sense and sensuality of cooking and about the deep happiness of eating together.
