Breton songs and French chansons

with Antony Heulin (poet, writer, singer) and Rainer Promnitz (cellist and composer)

Let yourself be whisked away to distant regions and indulge in your dreams of the past summer.

Breton is not just a treasure of the Armorican Bretons who live in West Brittany, but also the treasure of all Europeans, as it is the oldest language still spoken on this continent. As the West Bretons did not speak French and news was rare, songs were used to communicate news or the often tragic events of everyday life.

In addition, well-known French chansons by Charles Aznavour, Jaques Brel, Renaud and cello music by Yann Tiersen will be performed.
