Lea Moro: Ohren sehen

In the organizer's words:

You are in an urban living space, a city. The warm asphalt throbs and vibrates. We feel the musty ground, smell smoke and connect with the movements of the water molecules in the air. The audience joins the performers on a varied audio performance walk in and around the tanzhaus nrw. With pricked ears, they listen to the urban environment: who lives in the ground and who speaks from the branches of the sewers? Why does the air tremble? And who is dancing with us on bare concrete? The city is a habitat for many creatures. And we are always right in the middle of it.

Ohren sehen is Lea Moro's second choreographic work for young audiences after Alle Augen Staunen. On a polyphonic journey out of the theater, the audience encounters a series of living beings that speak for themselves. Listening as a mode of responsible, cooperative coexistence with our environment becomes a direct experience.

Audio description
The tactile tour for blind and visually impaired people takes place half an hour before the performance begins.

The performance has integrated auditory elements and selective audio descriptions that provide audible orientation for blind and visually impaired audiences. Prior to the performance, there is the possibility of a key introduction and a tour of the stage area. The play offers an orientation system for blind and visually impaired audiences so that they can move through the performance independently.
