A young Albanian woman, who has obtained a Belgian passport with the help of the mafia and by buying a marriage to a junkie, finds herself in a life-threatening conflict when she rediscovers her long-buried human values and gets in the way of her mafia "friends". An impressive film that appeals to the social conscience with its authentic study of a milieu and describes in quiet images the coming of age of a young woman embodied with great presence by the leading actress.
