After a long night, we usually call it a night at 10 o'clock in the morning. But sometimes, especially on Shrove Saturday, it can be a bit more, just like at the butcher's. For the Long Night of the Palais, we therefore welcome five sound diggers, namely Natanael Megersa, vølta, the duo EIK and Ai Case.

Natanael Megersa has been bringing his personal musical vision to dance floors for over a decade. As a resident at Bahnwärter Thiel and Harry Klein, he has made a name for himself and is now a permanent fixture on the Munich club scene. It's great to see him in action here at the Palais. His groovy sets are always an excellent mix of minimal house, minimal, hard groove and Detroit techno. His colleague vølta initially won the hearts of clubbers in Vienna and Berlin with a mixture of driving melodic techno beats and melancholic dark disco sounds. He has since found his home in Munich and is firmly anchored in the scene as part of the Tohuwabohu collective. He always conjures up an incredible energy on the floor when he plays, triggering pure ecstasy.

The beat continues with EIK, Marc and Sophie's DJ project. They are the brains behind the established Römertanz event series in Cologne. Since 2022, they have also been a regular duo behind the decks. Their "discography" ranges from Berlin clubs such as Ritter Butzke and Sage Beach to John Doe in Amsterdam and our living room in Munich. In their native Cologne, they often make the Artheater, the Nachtigall, the Zimmermanns or the Kunstbar happy. The two of them always develop their very own melodic journey when DJing, spicing up house and technoid music with oriental and Indian sounds. Perfect for fans of melodic, progressive, organic deep house. When the roast is slowly sizzling in the oven at home, Ai Case will get the mood boiling again. The Munich native is celebrating his tenth anniversary as a DJ and producer in 2025 and already has a new release in the pipeline for Sujet Musique. 2024 was a little quieter around him - apart from a very melodious "Emergency" on the "Synergism V1" EP. All the more reason for him to draw attention to himself again this year. Go for it!
