Onside / Offside

With works by Thomas Demand, Beate Geissler & Oliver Sann, Alexander Kluge, Erica Overmeer and Hito Steyerl.

The exhibition curated by Swantje Grundler and Thomas Mayfried shows filmic and photographic positions that deal with the blurred concept of normality. The two curators are interested in ambivalent situations in which what has been secured or learned is overturned.

The exhibition is open until 1 a.m. on the Long Night of Munich Museums. A family workshop and exhibition tours are on the program:

Participants discover the "Onside / Offside" exhibition together and experiment with photography, drawing and various materials. The result is a very special family portrait to take home.
Registration is not required, you can join the program at any time

Take 3 & 4 - tours of current art around Marienplatz

Rathausgalerie, Kunstarkaden, Artothek & Bildersaal, MaximiliansForum - the municipal art spaces show current art from Munich in the city center during the Long Night.
Three or four locations will be presented in tours.
