The Long Night of the Stages at the Center for the Arts in Tabakquartier presents four of the five new residents for the 2024/25 season to the audience. In the coming season, three orchestras and music ensembles as well as two dance/theatre projects will reside at the Center for the Arts. All of the ensembles are from Bremen and are exemplary proof of how much quality there is in the local independent arts scene: the Ka2OH ensemble, which has dedicated itself to dance theater for the very young, will kick things off by presenting an excerpt from their piece "Buh! oder wie man die Angst kleininkriegt" at 4 pm and 5 pm. They will be replaced by the franz ensemble, which is made up of young, internationally renowned soloists and chamber musicians. The musicians of "Los Temperamentos" will take the audience on a journey into the supposedly contrasting musical worlds of Latin America and Europe in the Baroque era, creating unusual symbioses. The ensemble New Babylon will close the Long Night of Stages at the Center for Art. Together with the Ingen Navn Trio, the artists will experiment with different musical styles and dissolve the boundaries between these genres in a mix of new music and jazz.
