INFO ABOUT THE LIVE CONCERT:

Sonido Aguajal is a music project from Marburg that is dedicated to the diversity of Latin American music. Founded by a group of friends with a shared passion for the sounds of Latin America, the band brings together musicians who interpret traditional and popular rhythms.

The repertoire combines not only cumbia sounds, but also other tropical Latin American rhythms. With a multi-faceted instrumentation, including percussion and melodic instruments, Sonido Aguajal creates dynamic and colorful music that invites you to listen and dance in equal measure.

In mid and late 2023, Sonido Aguajal released their first two songs: La Selva and Cumbia Bonita. In 2024, the band remained active and released three more singles: Pa'l Vacilón, La Charanga De Jürgen and Quincemil. Their latest release, Rumbia, was released on September 20, 2024 and shows the band's musical versatility.

With its interpretations and original compositions, Sonido Aguajal brings the musical diversity of Latin America to Marburg and enriches the local cultural scene with rhythmic and atmospheric sounds.
