KURZSUECHTIG Kurzfilmfestival – „Kurz vor Schluss“ Festival Get Together

In the organizer's words:

At the beginning of April, the KURZSUECHTIG short film festival presents the best short films from Central Germany. From April 2 - 6, the latest productions by young filmmakers from the region will be shown at the Schaubühne Lindenfels in the categories animation, documentary, fiction and experimental. Stories that get under your skin are told in just a few images. The filmmakers are present on the competition evenings and talk about the creation of their films and the themes they address. The audience can vote each evening to decide which film receives the Audience Award.

The festival ends on Sunday with the big Best Of evening, where all the winning films are shown again. The film evenings will be accompanied by workshops and workshop discussions on the subject of filmmaking during the festival week.

On Friday, 04.04. we want to end the festival evening together in the Kokille, Braukombinat Leipzig.
