Künstliche Romanzen: Liebesromane mit KI schreiben

In the organizer's words:

A good love story needs an exciting conflict, deep characters, chemistry between the main characters and a happy ending - at least these are the key elements that ChatGPT lists when you ask the system for a "good romance novel". In the workshop, we will try out together how these criteria can be implemented together with a language model. The aim is to plot a romance novel with AI, i.e. to determine the course of the story, and to write it. To this end, we will approach writing exercises with AI, ranging from narrative premises, plot and character concepts to the first chapter. What love narratives do great language models envision? And how much loving kitsch can we get out of the systems?

No previous technical knowledge or experience in literary writing is necessary for the workshop. However, when purchasing your ticket, please indicate briefly in the appropriate fields whether and if so, what previous knowledge you may already have. This will make it easier for us to plan the workshop.

What do you need to bring to the digital workshop?

• A WLAN-enabled laptop or other end device
• Access to a large language model (e.g. ChatGPT, LLaMA, GPT4ALL, etc.) to carry out the practical exercises. If you do not have access to a language model, please register at least ten days before the start of the workshop at hallo@neulandundgestalten.de.
