Kunst+Bildung: Dreiländereck der Lehrenden und Lernenden

As part of the event series KUNST+BILDUNG of the Landesbüro Bildende Kunst NRW, we cordially invite you to the symposium "Dreiländereck der Lehrenden und Lernenden". The event will take place on June 4, 2025 from 12:00 to 17:00 at Kunsthaus NRW, Abteigarten 6 in Aachen-Kornelimünster.

The newly opened collection presentation "Class Relations. Teachers, Learners, Artists" will be the focus of reflections on best practices from three different perspectives. The exhibition examines the relationship between teachers and students at art academies in NRW. The geographical location of the Kunsthaus in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine also offers a unique opportunity for cross-border exchange at a special extracurricular learning venue.

Target group & main topics:
In addition to art educators from NRW (including numerous artists), the information event is aimed at teachers and coordinators from the European, Euregio and Euregio profile schools in the Aachen city region as well as from the Netherlands and Belgium. Of course, art teachers from other schools, interested students and trainee teachers as well as educators are also very welcome. In order to counteract possible childcare problems, we offer a scenic tour in German during the keynote speeches and the discussion, especially for children from the age of four (please indicate participation when registering).

The focus is on practical approaches for art/museums and schools:

• How can mediation concepts be implemented in an age- and context-appropriate way?
• Practical guidance on the development of innovative didactic methods
• Concrete examples and tried-and-tested ideas for direct implementation

The event is jointly organized by Kunsthaus NRW Kornelimünster and LaB K in cooperation with the Bildungsregion Aachen and will take place on 4 June 2025 from 12:00 to 17:00 in Aachen-Kornelimünster (please indicate any assistance required for travel when registering).
