Kunst im Karton

In the organizer's words:

On December 6 and 7, 2024, the small, fine art fair "Kunst im Karton" will once again open its doors in the Weddinger Gerichtshöfe. This year, 24 artists from Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, selected by a jury of experts, will be offering works of art in a small format: exclusively on these two days at temptingly frivolous prices of up to a maximum of EUR 250.

Come in and find art:
Only sustainable materials are used for the original exhibition hanging: Each artwork must fit into a recycled fruit & vegetable carton (40 x 30 cm), which forms the presentation frame. The spectrum of artistic works ranges from painting, drawing, graphics and photography to mixed-media collages, sculpture and avant-garde object art. Anyone who sells a work is allowed to fill one of 12 boxes again. This guarantees a consistently large and varied selection for the duration of the event.

In a pre-Christmas atmosphere with mulled wine and punch, you can talk to the artists, discover art in around 288 boxes and purchase your favorites. If you wish, they can be packed for you free of charge at a packing station.

Open Friday and Saturday from 15:00 to 22:00, the organizers are happy about an entrance donation of 1 EUR.
