In the organizer's words:

Ceramic artist Renée Reichenbach will help you to transform your ceramic tile into a picture panel using a wide variety of means and to imprint a story on the tile. It could start with working white and colored porcelain or fine chamotte-colored clays into a base plate like an inlay, thus creating a colorful rhythm, a geometric order or even a figurative motif. Material embossing, fabric imprints, stamps or the incorporation of foreign materials such as nails or broken glass are also possible. There are no limits to playfully finding and inventing stories, and the small format opens up the possibility of trying out many things.

The tile, our picture, can have very different formats - square, rectangular, round. Pictures can be composed of several tiles, wall pictures can be created or even entire table tops. Of course, this workshop is also about producing such a tile in such a way that it does not deform during drying or firing and survives all work processes evenly flat.
