Persian poetry, oriental belly dancing, instruments and songs from the Orient. In the footsteps of Sheherazade and 1001 Nights, aphrodisiac dishes with pomegranate juice and walnuts and the sounds of a tare or tombak. All of this can be seen, heard and tasted here in Cologne. Today, the Kulturklüngel founder takes you to the Persian Mile. Here you will find expressive people from Iran: in a Persian bookshop, in an art gallery, in a pastry shop or simply on the street. Syavash Mohammadian Rastani accompanies the journey with music. He played the piano as a child in Tehran and shows us the sounds of the Persian rhythm instruments tombak and daf in Cologne.

Kulturklüngel has been offering intercultural city tours, culinary world tours and exotic cooking courses in Cologne, Bonn and Düsseldorf since 2007.
