Atsushi Maeda (rural | addictedloop)

Always with the intent to "leave the floor astonished", his DJ style focuses on taking the audience to a state they have never experienced before.
As the founder of rural, the open air event which takes place in summer, he has consistently provided new musical experiences for the people. The concept of rural is something he keeps in mind when he performs.
He is also behind the party "addictedloop", the foundation and the groundworks of rural, which has hosted Japan debuts of many techno artists in the past, and have recently started up again with their first party in a long time that took place at Contact.

In recent years, after some time away, Atsushi began his active role as a DJ again, captivating the crowds at Taipei's Organik Festival, Thailand's Karma Kastle and Wonderfruit, Bassiani in Tbilisi, and The Block in Tel Aviv.
At Wonderfruit, as the curator for the Catch 428 Stage, he gathered influential figures from various Asian countries. While techno remained a focal point, he presented variations of the main concept over the four-day festival. Additionally, he demonstrated his expertise by evolving the festival's underground aspect in terms of production, including the sound team with whom they had shared years of experiences at rural open air, which garnered positive feedbacks.

This will be the last stop of his EU-Tour, which brought him to iconic venues like Bassiani (Tbilisi), Tresor (Berlin), Opium Club (Vilnius) & Goldener Pudel (Hamburg)
