Some courageous, creative minds publish their work as it is being created - even if they are not yet completely satisfied with it. Leonardo da Vinci was one of them: he was known for publishing works, ideas and sketches that he himself did not yet consider perfect.

And here's another one: since 2018, Benjamin Amaru from eastern Switzerland has released more than 80 singles with a combination of pop, R&B and hip-hop, reaches over 30 million streams a year and plays one sold-out concert after another. Grandiose. And yet: the creative mind senses that he is still in the development process, that his works do not yet fully reflect his sound. "I see a lot of artists who work on a song for an incredibly long time and are afraid of exposing themselves. That fear is not in me," he explains. He relies much more on giving people something to listen to from time to time, letting them participate in the search for the perfect sound. No problem! There are plenty of grateful travel companions who, at the latest since his breakthrough with "You Don't Know", have followed the artist's every set path. Improvisation and spontaneity, plus an open ear and the desire to respond to crazy ideas: These are the cornerstones of every Amaru song. His current album "I always remember all of my dreams" is another testimony to his tireless creative process. There's nothing wrong with setting goals, as long as you don't let it stop you from taking interesting detours.

The other act of the top-class double concert is Filippo Bonamici aka Fil Bo Riva. The fact that this easy-going yet sensitive musician with his beloved grating voice is now playing the big stages is not least the result of an exciting career. Born in Rome and raised in the Roman suburbs, his parents sent him to boarding school in Dublin at the age of 12 because his commitment to school and music was not quite in balance. Far from home, far from music? Far from it! Even in Ireland, the passion didn't stop. After leaving school, Madrid becomes the chosen stopover before he decides to study design in Berlin. But there was something? Ah, right... Ciao balance! Soon the exceptional talent was no longer studying, soon he seemed to have really arrived.

End of the line. Music is his home: street music, opening act for Annenmaykantereit, debut EP "If You're Right, It's Alright", major festival tour, European tour with Joan As Police Woman, sold-out concerts, first album, retreat, break and now? The second album is launched and goes straight to the heart. "Modern Melancholia" deals with the big questions of life, setbacks and rays of hope. We can experience a special love for music: melancholic and powerful, penetrating and sincere to the deepest corners.
