Cosmic sounds: The E.T. Hotline Project, Kraftwerk & Tagmata -
Kultur am Fließband at Köntges!
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Kultur am Fließband invites you to an exciting concert evening at Köntges in Mönchengladbach. Under the motto "Cosmic Sounds", the audience can experience a musical journey through the worlds of synthesizers, guitars and electronic beats.
and electronic beats. performed by the band "The E.T. Hotline Project" and the musicians "Kratzwerk" and "Tagmata" from Mönchengladbach.
The E.T. Hotline Project:
Paul (synth, drum pad) from Recklinghausen and Daniel (guitar, bass) from Duisburg met in 2023 and since then they have embarked on a musical journey into space as a duo.
The E.T. Hotline Project is a fusion of synthetic, driving beats, synthesizers and effect-laden guitar sounds reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Santana.
Their music is created through both live software and handmade sounds, experimental and adventurous, and the project places great emphasis on the visual alongside the acoustic. In comic-space style, artwork and design are incorporated into the stage set with the help of projectors and tube televisions, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the world of e-space.

Scratchwork:
Guido Richter has been active in the Mönchengladbach music scene with many projects for more than 25 years. Since 2012, he has been experimenting across styles with his solo project "Kratzwerk" and has been focusing on the internet genre of vaporwave since 2017. This is where
80s/90s sounds meet TV jingles and ambient sounds, whereby a variety of musical influences always leads to the project evolving and remaining open to new experiments.
Tagmata:
After many years of numerous band and studio projects, Fabian Kieven from Mönchengladbach decides to revive his love of electronic music and launches the electronica project 'Tagmata' in 2018. Initially still characterized by synth experiments and
wild sound design, a darker, albeit clearer concept gradually emerged. Located somewhere between IDM and dark ambient, mostly structured with sharp rhythms, the project continues to unfold and uses electronic sources as well as acoustic instruments and samples.
All three music acts have already played several concerts at different Kultur am Fließband events on the Lower Rhine, but they have never filled an evening together.
This premiere can be experienced live on February 15 at Köntges on Waldhausener Straße in Mönchengladbach!
The doors of the Köntges culture café will open at 17:00 and the concert evening "Cosmic Sounds" will begin at 20:00. The motto for admission is "be good to your hat"!
