Linseed instead of chia seeds and sauerkraut - German superfoods have regained their rightful place on German plates. Because foreign foods are taboo.

Democracy chefs Kassandra Knödel and Noah Fleischhacker, well-known from radio and television, take us into a world of delights and conjure up delicious German dishes from local ingredients. In their live show, they anticipate the shift to the right in society and show where this will lead: Only German food is allowed.

Or is there another way? Yes! The TV show is accompanied by experts who work against discrimination, racism and right-wing ideologies and show what opportunities each and every individual has - we have together - as a society to oppose this shift to the right and stand up for a free society. Cooking together and then eating with the audience creates empowerment.

Because the most important thing is: how do we manage not to let anything burn?

The program is accompanied by Bertolt Brecht's play "Fear and Misery of the Third Reich", illustrates the historical dimension of National Socialism and is more topical than ever.
