»Kritter« Turbopascal -Interaktive Performance für Geschichtenerfinder*innen und Zukunftsträumende ab 10 Jahren

In the organizer's words:

About the play:

What if humans, animals and plants were closer to each other? What if they were even related to each other? Half dandelion, half human; black rhino in the front, woman in the back. A person with fins? A computer with a heartbeat. A hybrid creature with new characteristics. Around a digital campfire consisting of flaming tablets, the performers of Turbo Pascal gather with their audience to imagine a world in which humans are no longer at the center of everything. Sentence by sentence, a story emerges. Ideas from the audience mingle with those of the performers. The narrative picks up speed - a jointly developed fantasy that rethinks the world.

Shaken awake by the daily bad news of species extinction, Turbo Pascal's interactive performance "Kritter" opens up a co-creative space for collaboration with young audience members. With words, fantasies, video projections and drawings, a shared science fiction is created through dialogical storytelling. A thinking space for alternative narratives that thwarts Eurocentric, patriarchal perspectives with both seriousness and humor.
