If you would like to know what to expect from our new productions and upcoming concerts before the premiere, the taster sessions are the right place for you. They offer all interested parties the opportunity to get an insight into our program in advance - free of charge! This time: "Catch me if you can", the musical based on the Dreamworks film of the same name, which premieres on February 1 in the main auditorium of the Stadttheater.

About the play:
Today a pilot, tomorrow a well-off doctor, the day after tomorrow an influential lawyer. The life of Frank William Abagnale Jr. sounds like a dream. But he can do one thing above all: forge cheques, make women's hearts beat faster, escape his own life and masterfully fool the FBI. Until he really falls in love. In 2002, Steven Spielberg brought the true story of a con man to the cinemas, which composer Marc Shaiman, known for his musical Hairspray among other things, brought to Broadway almost ten years later - as a fast-paced comedy about crooks and a declaration of love to the jazzy Broadway sound of the 1960s.
