Free plant exchange ...

Indoor, balcony and garden plants of all kinds!

The free plant exchange at Schmitzundkunzt usually takes place once a month on a Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00 in our event location in the Belgian Quarter (Richard Wagner Str. 8 in 50674 Cologne).

In good weather, we swap plants in the outdoor area and/or courtyard of our location; in bad weather, the plant swap takes place under cover!

Basics ...

Please bring a quantity of plants of your choice to the swap meet. However, if you don't have any plants to bring with you, you can still take part and, if you like something and would like to take it with you, you are welcome to put something in our donation box!

Plants of all kinds can be exchanged, whether they are houseplants or outdoor plants.
Cuttings and adult plants are welcome. It would be nice if the plants are in a planter and/or tray so that they don't get dirty.

By handing in your plant(s), you will receive your "entry pass" on site, so to speak, which entitles you to take plants that other people have handed in for you and your loved ones. Once you have left your plant(s) with us, it is time to say goodbye to them!

We would like to ask - if possible - that people do not simply come to pick up their plants and do not bring anything with them. Unfortunately, this would not be in keeping with the purpose of the swap concept and we would not have a supply of goods, which is ultimately formed by the plant(s) you bring with you!

Feel free to bring your friends and/or family along, because browsing and swapping is the most fun together.
From time to time we also give away larger quantities of plants if our stock is too large. Here we refer you to our additional campaigns "Plants for donation" (sometimes at the same time as the women's fashion clothing swap) and "Los Verschenkos Tag" ...
