Kosmokörper, Elisabeth Finger

In the organizer's words:

"Kosmokörper" invites the audience on a cosmic-anatomical journey through the inside of the human body. It is a search for a dance of the organs and body systems and their processes such as breathing, digesting, excreting, being ill, healing, dreaming and dying. Elisabete Finger develops a choreography that sets the body's activities in motion and allows them to emerge.

What happens when, in this dynamic dance from the inside out, we encounter organs that have merged with plants and animals or breaths that take the form of clouds or whirlwinds? Are there cavities inside us that resemble black holes in space or liquids that flow like rivers? Do we also see garbage, plastic, waste there? What if we realize that we are feverish while the climate is changing, and we are fading while earthly landscapes are disappearing?

"Kosmokörper" encourages us to rethink the connections between inside and outside, part and whole, body and cosmos, and to search for an experience of ecology that takes place within ourselves.
