Kolibrina creates her versatile, touching compositions from inspirations that she draws from life and all its facets. Friends, nature, being in love, various stories and fantasies. Everything that has ever impressed and emotionally stimulated her flows into her music.
music. It is correspondingly versatile, multilingual and cross-stylistic, because the native Georgian combines the Caucasian sounds from the sea and mountain regions, from her native city of Tbilisi, with the sounds and beats from the most diverse musical cultures.
Percussion, guitar and polyphonic vocals flow together in a groovy loop, on which she lets off steam with her memorable voice. Between highs and lows, with unusual twists and accents, she creates new forms and a
successful combination of the moving-rhythmic with the flowing-soft. In this process she reveals something very familiar, something you already know somewhere in the depths of your heart.
A unique mix of singer songwriter style, world music, folk-pop, soul and a touch of jazz in which you can lose yourself, or find yourself, or both at the same time.
