The Merlin Cultural Center presents: Cali (Garage/Punk)

Cali brings an extraordinary arrangement, reduced to bass and vocals with drums. Bass punk in a nutshell: Humming and buzzing, with echoing effects and Cali's unmistakable lyrics, which evoke Nina Hagen and eerie old German fairy tales in equal measure. She loves unconventional bass playing and performing, and on very special days she goes solo. Then her dusty vocals in 4 languages tell of strange worlds in which anything is possible. With Cali, only the now counts - powerfully supported by Philipp Knoth (Flawless Issues, Peter Muffin Trio, Die Hälfte) on drums.
