KOMMSE ÜCKEN?!

In the organizer's words:

One night, one accommodation. A very special one. Bochumer Straße in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf is not a hip mainstream scene district, it's just Ücken. And when we ücken, that means here: There's a theater performance in the pub, a punk concert in front of the Greek chip shop or a rave in the run-down vacant lot. Free admission everywhere, you can hop from location to location.

The KOMMSE ÜCKEN?! program for 15 March 2025:

From 6 pm "Wat is?" - Skate video premiere by the Forsthaus locals in the former supermarket (Bochumer Straße 156)

The skaters of the GE-Erle Forsthaus Locals have been filming their skate trips all over Europe for over a year. You can expect 60 minutes of skate madness with versatile sounds.

6-10 p.m. "Where it pinches" - interactive art exhibition in the Atelierhaus (Bochumer Straße 132)

Hamide Sauer and Luise Liebe deal with the body, skin or how relationships are carried out on the body, and invite you to ask yourself these questions.

7 p.m. "Love, faith, scornful laughter" - reading by Jan Off at Café Ütelier (Bochumer Straße 114)

On LSD at a ski marathon, by the pool with Charles Bukowski, with a swimming ring and slippers at the KitKatClub - weird short stories by and with Jan Off.

8 p.m. Rasmus Nordholt-Frieling live at readymade books (Bochumer Straße 108)

Live electronic music by sound artist Rasmus Nordholt-Frieling from Bochum and a special guest.

8 p.m. Elvis Pummel live + after-show party at GeOrgel (Bochumer Straße 150)

Elvis Pummel, NRW's worst guitarist and Dortmund's King of Trash, as a guest in Ücken. Afterwards: "Filmriss special party" from all genres and eras with DJ Ango.

8 p.m. Jürgen's Disco Treff live at Rosamunde (Bochumer Straße 117)

A mix of funk, disco and jazz that will delight drinkers and Dieter Bohlen fans alike.

20:30 "Wat'n Schatten" Theater in the Trinkhalle am Flöz (Bochumer Straße 139)

A VJ party between dance and projection screen. Colorful melodies, visually enriched with sepia-toned recordings from albums and archives from Ü.

9 pm Nachtkinder live at HIER IST NICHT DA (Bochumer Straße 138)

Organic sounds of German indie music meet the rock energy of the early 90s with the Nachtkinder from Nuremberg, paired with a penchant for theatricality.

From 22:30 "Königskinder und Rebellen" party at HIER IST NICHT DA (Bochumer Straße 138)

The legendary indie & alternative party from the Pott (Trompete, Bochum or Silent Sinners, Dortmund) is coming back. Dance to Bloc Party and co. at the block party in Ücken.
