What's happening in 2016 as a one-off event to celebrate singer-songwriter Björn Heuser's 20th stage anniversary is entering its sixth year due to huge demand - with many new guests and new songs, but as usual as a Cologne tradition XXL with lots of Hätz and Jeföhl!

In 2018, the LANXESS arena set an audience record: an incredible 20,216 singers were there live, more spectators have never been in the arena before. "We would never have thought it possible that this event would be so well received," says Heuser. "We're all the happier about the popularity and the fact that whole families are living out the traditions and the Kölsch Jeföhl here. In this way, we want to make a small contribution to preserving our Cologne language."

Another emotional highlight followed in 2021, when KÖLLE SINGT was the first major event in the arena after the coronavirus break. 12,600 guests, no more were allowed in, had tears in their eyes when Björn Heuser sang the first notes: "Jetz simmer all widder he..." The KÖLLE SINGT anthem also celebrated its world premiere, a very special moment for everyone involved and, in addition to goosebumps, a spirit of optimism in the sold-out arena.

Since 2022, the proven concept of the most beautiful Cologne songs, likeable guests and the Björn Heuser band as support has been maintained without restrictions. And as usual, there is always a center stage in the middle of the arena. "This has contributed a lot to the unique community experience," says Heuser happily.

Tickets for the goosebump-inducing Cologne event have always been available for less than 20 euros, and since Sundays have proven to be a good time for many families to attend with their children, KÖLLE SINGT always takes place on the last Sunday before October 5.
