Knowing Me, Knowing You (a-ha)

In the organizer's words:

On February 1, the artists Dorothea Gillert-Marien, Silvia Liebig, Maria Bill and Peco Kawashima will open their exhibition "Knowing Me, Knowing You (a-ha)" atFriedrich7.

The artists met at different times in early 2023 in Paris at the Cité internationale des Arts. They decide to continue their artistic exchange in the form of "traveling" books. In this process , each of them designs a book page to which the next responds with their own interpretation.

For the exhibition, the four artists develop a concept that focuses on the process of visual dialog. They are now presenting their results at Friedrich7 - the books they have created so far, a video production and some individual works.

During a talk at the vernissage, you will have the opportunity to meet all the artists in person and gain exclusive
insights into their work.
