On Monday, March 10, Liv Andersson and Dota Kehr will be playing with us. The show starts at 20:00. We are really looking forward to this evening!

With warm timbres, vivid lyricism and cinematic arrangements, Liv Andersson creates emotional worlds and moods that seem to lie somewhere between waking and dreaming. Her debut EP "Paper Boat" was released in November 2024. The music combines elements of folk, jazz and trip hop in a very unique way and is reminiscent of artists such as Laura Marling, Radiohead, Fiona Apple and Portishead. Liv Andersson's folk noir varies between fragility and expressiveness. And there is always a certain melancholy in it.

In the noughties, Dota Kehr released her first songs under the pseudonym "Die Kleingeldprinzessin". In 2003 and 2007, she recorded albums in Brazil in collaboration with Brazilian musicians such as Chico Cesár and Danilo Guilherme. She has been touring and releasing under the name DOTA since 2013. The artist was born in Berlin, where she has always lived - with the exception of a few longer stays in South America. A look at their more recent discography: in 2020, the band released the album "Kaléko" with settings of poems by Mascha Kaléko. 2023 saw the release of a second album with Kaléko settings, "In der fernsten der Fernen", again with many exciting duet partners from the German-speaking music scene. This was followed in 2024 by "de repente Fortaleza", another Brazil album in collaboration with Danilo Guilherme. And four years after "Wir rufen dich, Galaktika", "Springbrunnen", the first new album with their own German lyrics, was released in summer 2025.
