The clothes swap takes place at Schmitzundkunzt on a regular basis - usually on 2 selected Saturdays of the month from 11:00 to 13:00 as well as on a few additional evening dates. The exchange takes place in our common rooms or, if the weather is "best", in our courtyard. All events take place in our event location Schmitzundkunzt, Richard Wagner Str. 8 in 50674 Cologne.

Please bring only clean (preferably washed), stain-free and well-preserved clothes without holes, tears or other damage to the Kleider-TauschRausch events. After all, you yourself will expect only "good" clothes to be hanging on our clothes racks. Please make this possible for the other visitors too. After all, we want to offer you and all other visitors (no offense intended!) a clothes swap and not an "old clothes collection".
Unfortunately, we do not accept shoes, underwear, sleepwear and swimwear. If you do bring any of these items with you, you will have to take them back with you. Unfortunately, we do not stock these product groups in our clothing exchange due to space requirements and lack of demand
Please generally bring up to 10 of your favorite items to enable us to "manage the quantities".
Please always bring "seasonal" swap items from the current and/or next season.
If you take clothes from our racks or from the shelves on the day of the event, try them on and then don't want to take them with you, please hang them back on the hanger and on the clothes rack or put them back in their place on the shelf. This makes our work much easier during and after the clothing exchange.
Please do not arrive too early for the clothes exchange as we would like to start the admission on time. Due to the preparations, earlier admission is unfortunately not possible.
Please pay attention to the closing times of the clothing exchange. A bell will remind you approx. 15 minutes before the end of the event when the appointment is coming to an end. The last admission to each clothes swap is therefore "in principle" possible up to 30 minutes before the end, so that you can still look around in peace. Because "after the clothes swap is before the clothes swap"! After all, we still have to tidy up and dismantle after the event and leave everything in tip-top condition for the next time
Take care of your personal belongings! We are a thoroughly honest community. However, once the flow of visitors has started, other visitors may consider the items that you may have "put down for a while" as "swap goods" and suddenly your bag has found a new owner without you wanting it.
