Klavierwoche - Vincent Neeb

We welcome Vincent Neeb to the opening of the 35th Heidelberg Piano Week. He discovered his passion for playing the piano at an early age and received his first piano lessons from Stefan Flemmerer. As a teenager, he studied for five years as a junior student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with Michaela Pühn and Markus Bellheim.

Since 2021, Neeb has continued his artistic journey at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with Ewa Kupiec. He also received important impulses during semesters abroad at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Martin Hughes and at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Ian Fountain. Master classes with renowned pianists such as Michel Beroff, Imogen Cooper, Bernd Goetzke, Andrzej Jasinski and Anna Malikova enriched his artistic development.

Neeb has made a name for himself internationally as a prizewinner of major competitions, including the MozARTe Piano Competition Aachen (2019) and the International Grotrian Steinweg Competition (2018). He has performed with orchestras such as the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra.

At the DAI, Vincent Neeb will perform works by Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin and Karol Szymanowski.
