"Dances of fire - a musical bridge between the continents"
Experience a musical journey between Europe and Latin America! The program "Dances of Fire" was conceived as a bridge between the continents and takes you into the multifaceted world of classical music. You will hear works from the Viennese Classical and Romantic eras that showcase the elegance and depth of European compositions. You can also expect spirited and passionate music from Spain and Latin America - piano pieces full of energy and fiery rhythms that bring the artistic contrasts and unique developments of these cultures to life.
Vladimir Valdivia, born in Lima in 1970, began his musical training at the age of 5 at the Conservatorio Nacional de Musica in Lima and graduated in 1988 with a diploma and gold medal. He performed as a soloist in South America from an early age. He came to Germany in 1989, studied in Prof. Ludwig Hoffmann's master class and won a DAAD scholarship in 1990. This was followed by successes at competitions and master classes with renowned pianists such as Vladimir Krainiev and Bruno Leonardo Gelber.
Since 1990, he has performed worldwide, including in the Berlin Philharmonie and Munich's Herkulessaal, as well as in Japan, South Africa, the USA and at festivals in Europe and South America.
