50 years of stage work as an actor and singer - chansonier
Klaus Hoffmann is releasing his 50th album "Flügel" on 17.11.2023 and will be touring Germany with his band.

He will be accompanied by his fabulous four-piece band: Hawo Bleich on piano and keyboard, Michael Brandt on acoustic guitar and electric guitar, Peter Keiser on bass and Walter Keiser on drums and percussion.

These songs from the new CD will be performed live. In addition, a selection of old songs, reinterpreted with the band and interludes by Klaus Hoffmann, will be presented as a colorful mix from 50 years.

On his album "Flügel", Klaus Hoffmann sounds fresher than ever and yet remains true to himself. The Berlin songwriter and singer has composed and written 14 new songs for it. He once again proves himself to be a great storyteller and subtle observer of our increasingly disturbing present. And every single song is so precisely and radiantly arranged that one can only say: Beware, addictive potential!

The opening song "So fängt es an" immerses you in a carefully arranged, finely interwoven dramaturgy of songs. A cosmos of the most diverse feelings, from elated melancholy to sadness and pain to touching happiness and the greatest love, opens up, clothed in a mix of chanson, jazz, Latin and pop, which knows how to surprise in a nuanced way with ever new timbres. You can always hear German soulfulness and the shimmering melancholy of Irish folklore, as well as Mediterranean lightness and French charm.

Love shines through in all his songs, Klaus Hoffmann is a great philanthropist, a humanist in the truest sense of the word. "No matter what happens to us in life, only love can save us all, because it gives us support and confidence". Just like the songs on this new album with their heartfelt language full of poetry.

"We'll see each other again next summer", the last song on the CD, is a tribute to friendship and meeting up with friends, an upbeat look into the future. In addition to the positive and encouraging power of this artist, it shows his talent for constantly recreating language and music.
