In the organizer's words:

With a flood of short films, the KLAPPE AUF! Short Film Festival trudges through the mudflats into the next round. Under the theme Tides: Ebb and Flow, there are three short film programs with a total of 19 short films to experience without barriers.

The 6th KLAPPE AUF! Short Film Festival will take place on April 4 and 5, 2025 at the Metropolis Cinema in Hamburg.

Fluctuations in life, ups and downs, a back and forth of emotions are told in feature films, documentaries, animations, experimental films and music videos. Almost all filmmakers will present their films in person.

All short films will be shown with audio description and extended subtitles. In addition, the talks on stage and with the audience will be translated by written and sign language interpreters.

At our final party on Saturday evening in the Fabrique in the Gängeviertel, we want to let ourselves go with you to the best music from Bum Bum Disco. The party atmosphere will increase when the prizes are awarded by our inclusive 5-member jury, the audience prize and the team prize.

One-way ticket 7 €, reduced 4 €. Festival pass 15 €, reduced 10 €. Tickets available directly at the Metropolis box office or online via the website www.metropoliskino.de.
