Kinder & Familienfest an der Kölner Möbelmeile

In the organizer's words:

The former traditional Cologne furniture store De Breuyn is moving from the Müngersdorf industrial area to the Hohenstaufenring, Cologne's furniture mile. Under new ownership and a new name, Abitare Kids is now officially opening on September 20 and 21 with a party for young and old.

In addition to exquisite and unique children's furniture - almost all of which can grow with the children - the Abitare team is offering parents and children a two-day free program:

On Friday , the festival kicks off with a new launch. The sustainable own brand "wookids" is expanding its range of timeless wooden children's furniture and providing another reason to celebrate. With face painting and lotteries for some partner products, there is something for everyone in the family.

The motto for Saturday is "I'm an astronaut". The little astronauts will go in search of a lost UFO, while the grown-ups will be presented with the new sustainable collection - also in space design, of course - by Spanish designer Lorena Canals. At the end of the day, with a bit of luck, the space flair can be brought into your own four walls in the competition.
