Inspector Knudsen is under pressure: a serial killer is killing people
people connected with the port of Hamburg and then disappears again into the depths of the Elbe. The Altona police have a small activist group under suspicion. They have been fighting for years against the controversial deepening of the Elbe, which is intended to guarantee the big container giants access to the river. The problem, as so often: economy before ecology. The dredging of tons of silt has long since dramatically changed the ecosystem of the Elbe. But can the environmental protection group also be accused of murder? Inspector Knudsen and his colleague (and secret crush) Dörte are closing in on the culprit. In the meantime, Knudsen's friend Oke Andersen is briefly reactivated as a pilot due to a lack of personnel - and must try to prevent a catastrophe for the Hanseatic city on board a gigantic container ship.
