Lydie Römisch, harpist "with a sparkling sense of sound and a strikingly brilliant playing technique to create a virtuoso highlight" began her career as a solo harpist with the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra. The GVL and "OWL-Studienfonds" scholarship holder has already made two debut recordings on Deutschlandfunk in Cologne and Radio Bremen with WERGO. The dedicated musician plays this "majestic instrument" at home and abroad. The winner of the Sparkasse and GVL Neustart Kultur artist award has performed at several famous festivals, has worked for the Saxony-Anhalt Ministry of Culture, Westphalian Literature Office together with Esther Schweins, Kunststiftung NRW and has performed for the Federal President of Germany. She has also performed at the Alte Oper and Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main and in the chamber music hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Berlin Philharmonie.
