Embrace the charm of India's rich cultural diversity. Classical Indian dance thrives on the expressiveness of its gestures, the dynamic rhythms, the full sound of the tabla and the enchanting melody of hundreds of foot bells. The course teaches the refined basic movements of Kathak and its powerful footwork. We develop grace and a sense of rhythm and apply this knowledge in choreographies whose lyrics tell of the rich mythology of India.

About me: Kathak is my life. I was trained at the prestigious National Institute of Kathak Dance, New Delhi, under Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani. I have stage and teaching experience mainly in India and Germany, but also in other countries in Asia, South America and Europe. In June 2012, I presented the Kathak Utsav festival at the KAZ/Jungen Theater Göttingen for the first time.

Costs: The monthly fee is 40 € (for students 32 €, for children 24 €).
