In the organizer's words:
The rumors are true: this time, our infamous carnival party is taking place in a different location for the first time: at Bogen 2, just a few minutes from Hansaring. Our skirts are already fluttering with anticipation. The venue is made for carnival ecstasy - with two wonderful party floors, intricate corridors, rich sound, deluxe Kölsch bars and a stable back terrace
And because that's not enough, we're bringing a special live hit to the party stage with the band Knallblech. The combo performs brass at its very best. Cologne carnival songs, party hits, they turn every song into a fiesta and every hut into a wild madhouse. We've already seen a lot, but these trumpets & trombones go one better! And before you ask, the Mittanz-Funkemariechen will of course be back, as will DJ Le Kreck and guitarists Klampfe & Schelle
And before any doubts arise: Of course, Dicke Berta will also be back. After we were only allowed to use a "cannon" in the CBE last year that didn't deserve the name, this time we finally have the original again: Cologne's most powerful confetti! Ready to chase confetti through the hall so that you can't see any more Kölsch!
Fründe, rest assured: all party-goers can expect a high-percentage cocktail of brilliant Cologne carnival hits mixed with some damn danceable party rockets on two floors. Played by the restless 'Mittanz-Funkemariechen' (long, legs, short schnapps!) and 'DJ Le Kreck' (organ master at 'Bumann & SOHN' and more sought-after than the Prince himself). Plus joie de vivre, thirst, singing and an audience that is always in a fantastic mood. Polka, polka, polka, it's going to be a party!
