Far, far out at sea, where the waves are crashing and a stiff breeze is blowing, there is not a soul to be seen for miles around. Except Captain Cardboard, of course, with his boat. And the woodworm that lives in it and occasionally peeks over the railing. And a few fish that gurgle past. But apart from that, there's no one there, really. No one to disturb Captain Cardboard from enjoying the peace and quiet, steering his ship through the waves and letting the wind whistle around his nose. And so he sails across the ocean day in, day out, until suddenly a small seagull lands right at his feet and can't fly any further! That's the end of the peace and quiet on board.
