Käpt'n Karo und das Auge des Aliens was created from stories that Susanne Mautz collected from children in kindergartens. At the Dôme, the children's stories are brought to life with a great deal of humor, speed and attention to detail.

If you keep your eyes open, you can meet her at any time, the most famous pirate of the seas, who stops off here and there to talk about her adventures. And Captain Karo really does have a lot to tell. For example, about her last great voyage, which was supposed to take her to Pula Sumba, but which left her stranded in Strawberry Land after a violent storm. Everything could have been wonderful there if the king of Strawberry Land hadn't fallen off his horse into a poisonous flower while out riding with Captain Karo. To save the king, three extremely rare things have to be obtained. And so Captain Karo sets off on a journey around the world and much further, encountering an annoyed witch, a panicked pancake and aliens with more insight than ever necessary...
