Kaptain Kaizen
Started before, almost failed during and finally finished after the pandemic, "Für 3 Minuten 11" is now the third album by the Mannheim punk band Kaptain Kaizen, who have been around since 2013. As an homage to the average length of a pop song, the title symbolizes the question of the why of one's own work, the art of switching off in these times and the unforgettable pleasure of a fleeting moment. The album contains, almost as usual, wistful "head-against-the-wall punk", characterized by swirling riffs and fierce, driving drums. The record was recorded together in one room in order to preserve the raw energy of a live concert on record in the best possible way. This was a success and the band is now perfectly prepared to present their intense mix of profound lyrics and energetic sound on stages across the country.

Paddelnohnekanu
Paddelnohnekanu have a lot to tell.
In 2025, they start the year with some new songs and a new album is brewing. Snotty, yet thoughtful, dark and somewhat unconventional, but (especially live) always forward-thinking post-punk from near Baden-Baden. At the start for 2 decades and always beautifully DIY.
