JZ James - Trio

With a guitar case full of original American roots music and his brand new album "Let Come Let Go", JZ JAMES (alias Jürgen Zink), a veteran of the Würzburg music scene, is coming to visit his old home. The blues musician, who now lives in Berlin, tells stories from the cultural melting pot of Neukölln in his songs and takes the audience on a journey around the globe. He makes brief stops at Thelonius Monk and Nina Simone, celebrates Christmas in Hanoi and the mountains of Pakawau. On the way home, he stumbles back into his former favorite pub. And meets them all again: the ones he left behind. The old friends. The crazy birds. Whether traditional blues style, Cajun, ragtime or swing: JZ James combines gospel, jazz, soul and folk to create his own personal style. He is accompanied by Tommi Neubauer on bass and trumpeter and accordionist Johannes Steinbronn.
