Jupiter Day

In the organizer's words:

On Saturday, November 23, we will be celebrating the fourth Jupiter Day. On the six floors of the Kreativplanet, we defy the November dreariness for a whole day: with DJs and design shopping, pizza and performances, maker space and fairytale theater, flat white, photographic art and much more.

Jupiter Day celebrates the creative interim use of Hamburg's city center. Together, we will take to the roof of the former department store.

On Jupiter Day, all the creative projects that have found a temporary home in the Kreativplaneten provide a full program on all floors. The building opens at 10 a.m. with the first program items - and closes at 3 a.m. when the Hanseatische Materialverwaltung party comes to an end.

Admission to the Jupiter is free - and so are most of the programs. See you there?

You can experience this - and more - at Jupiter Day:

From 10am: UpCycling Market
An exciting selection of upcycling brands offers sustainably developed products, from clothing to furniture and jewelry to home accessories.

10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Design shopping at La Tribune Noire
Street and sportswear brands, cosmetics, designer furniture and food tastings turn the first floor with its pop-up stores and café into a lively marketplace.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: "Make your own little thing" with the OpenLab Microfactory
Discover everything you can design with a computer and make yourself. 3D printer, laser cutter and CNC milling machine are ready for you. Be creative and make your own small object!

1 p.m.: Play-along theater "The Snow Queen" with the Galli Theater Hamburg

13:30 & 15:30: Guided tour of the art exhibition with works by Felix Stöver
The Hamburg art gallery will give interested visitors an explanation of the works of Felix Stöver. The artworks are shown under black light and are characterized by a special depth of detail and imaginative aesthetics.

2 to 9 p.m.: Photo festival of the laif foundation
Large photo exhibition on the topics of climate change, equal opportunities and social cohesion - plus lectures, discussion rounds and PhotoSlams on stage.

4 p.m.: Fairytale musical "Snow White" with the Galli Theater Hamburg

6 p.m.: Fashion show by HOMIE
You shouldn't miss this: HOMIE STUDIOS are putting on an upcycling fashion show for Jupiter Day. Upcycling fashion has never been so cool!

7 to 10 pm: Bingo & bubbly at the Hanseatische Materialverwaltung
Open bingo show with bubbly and great music. Proceeds go to a good cause. Bingo!

Until 3 a.m.: From midday, the Hanseatische Materialverwaltung on the top floor opens its doors - with a bar, DJs and table tennis until late into the night.

Free admission - and most of the program is free of charge. Additional costs may be incurred for individual activities (such as the theater performances).
