Jugend in die Mitte

Action at Berliner Platz for teenagers and young adults aged 14 to 27

With the action series "Jugend in die Mitte - Action am Berliner Platz", the city of Bottrop, in cooperation with the Bündnis Buntes Bottrop, the Propstei St. Cyriakus and other independent organizations, clubs, associations and other actors, wants to make Berliner Platz a place where young people feel comfortable and safe again.

Every Thursday (excluding public holidays) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., various free sports, exercise and recreational activities are offered for teenagers and young adults aged 14 to 27. You can drop in without having to register.

The Jugend in die Mitte team always has the following equipment with them:

• Mobile soccer court
• Mobile volleyball court
• Mobile punching bag
• Soccer darts (sponsored by the Sportjugend)
• Various individual ball games (hacky sack, beach ball, etc.)
• Seating and rest areas (chilling out and a sympathetic ear)

There are also special activities such as American football, hip-hop dance sessions or sports activities such as badminton, basketball and skating. These highlights are always published early in the digital calendar.
